TEL originally stood for Tokyo Electron Laboratories, Inc. Today, TEL stands for the present company name, Tokyo Electron Limited.

The annual general meeting is held every year in the latter half of June. As soon as the day of the meeting is decided, it is posted on the following pages.

What do I need to do to attend the general meeting of shareholders?

Shareholders listed in the shareholders register may attend the general meeting of shareholders. When you come to the meeting venue, please bring the "Form for Execution of Voting Rights" enclosed with the "Notice of the General Meeting of Shareholders" sent to shareholders in late May.

How can I exercise my voting rights if I cannot attend the general meeting of shareholders?

Shareholders listed in the shareholders register may exercise voting rights. There are two ways. (1) Mark "yes" or "no" for each of the proposals listed on the "Form for Execution of Voting Rights” enclosed with the "Notice of the General Meeting of Shareholders," sign it and return it by mail. (2) Use the website designated by TEL to vote online. Either method allows shareholders to exercise their voting rights even if they cannot attend the general meeting of shareholders.

Is it possible to find out in advance what proposals will be put forward at the general meeting of shareholders?
